Farmers’ markets operate in every type of community, from cities to suburbs to rural areas, and vary from large, sheltered, year-round markets to a few farmers selling produce out of trucks once a week over the summer.
In general, a climate zone determines what will grow in your area. Zones are largely based upon temperature ranges and humidity, but do take into account other geographic and seasonal factors. We include here a listing of climate zones around B.C. for your reference.
