Check below for a full list of downloadable GardenWise indexes from 2001 to present.

Plants and subject information are listed alphabetically with the Issue Number in bold type followed by the Page Number in regular type. For example, an article on clematis is in issue #2 on pages 16-20.

In most cases, plants are listed under both botanical name and common name.

The heading "Gardens" has two parts: one with gardens shown by theme or style, and one with gardens by owner or designer.

I am looking for best suitable tree seedling for Clinton BC area. My property is situated at elevation of 3600 feet above sea level, very windy, dry, and up to -35C during winter months. We used to have nice Pine forrest but now is dead because of Pine beetle.
Last year I purchased 90 seedlings of Nordmans Fir from your nursery and planted on my property. Unfortunatelly less then 10 of them survive. I know that a good choice will be to plant Willows, Poplars, and Lilacs there.
Please help me. Maybe you have better idea for the types of trees I should plant there
