GardenWise reader, Billie Hobkirk, sent in some lovely photographs of her beautiful garden in Surrey, BC.

Billie wrote, "Your request for garden photos prompted me to go through mine and select some taken in my Surrey garden throughout the seasons. Your photo expert recommends taking photos on low light days to avoid shadows, but sometimes I really like the effect of the shadows. I like the natural framing that the shadows provide."

GardenWise Online thanks Billie for generously sharing her gorgeous photographs with us!

I am so impressed with Billie's photos, she obviously has a "gift". I am new to this "gardening world" and have a new appreciation of a well thought out garden - there is so much to learn!

I think this lady is the best photographer and green thumb there is! These are beautiful, how can I hire her to do my garden?
