It’s smart to tackle those weeds in your garden early in the morning or following a rainstorm, as it’s always easiest when the soil is wet.

By disturbing the soil as little as possible, you’ll avoid stirring up and germinating more weed seeds. Also, ensure your compost pile heats to 66°C (150°F) to kill any seeds tossed in with the weeds.
