Tips on enhancing the portability of pots.

Place heavy containers on special-purpose dollies fitted with castors so they can be easily moved. Another option is to place them in a child’s wagon that is painted to harmonize with your garden décor.

"Large clay pots filled with plants that must overwinter indoors can be extremely heavy – virtually immovable. To ensure they can be moved in winter, try planting your plant in a lightweight 22.5 L (5 gal.) plastic pot that sits inside the ceramic pot.
