For a cascade of lavender hues, try this container combination by Proven Winners. This simple planting adds colour and interest on a balcony or deck – or even in an underutilized space in the garden.
To recreate this planting you will need two of each of the following: Ageratum ‘Artist Purple’; Helichrysum ‘Icicles’; Osteospernum ‘Soprano Light Purple’ and Petunia ‘Supertunia Mini Rose Veined’.
Plant one ageratum in the centre of the pot and the two osteospermums together close to the outer rim. Alternate the other plants following the circular pattern of the container. Water and feed regularly to keep the plants blooming during the warm days of summer.
