I planted some Asiatic lilies on early summer. I noticed the leaves are brown and drooping. The zone is a four. Do you think they got too much water?

I believe uneven moisture in the lily's rootball is causing the leaves to brown and droop, particularly the lower leaves. Lily bulbs rarely have a dormancy period. Therefore, the soil should be evenly moist, but not soggy, otherwise bulbs would rot.
