Can you tell me how deep one should plant large daffodil and tulip bulbs?

Carolyn Jones, GardenWise horticulturist

Plant a bulb a depth of roughly three times the bulb's width. That is the depth to the bottom of the hole, not the depth of soil above the top of the bulb. Therefore a large bulb would be planted about 8 inches deep.
